Emerson ordained as Baptist minister

Jeremy Emerson, of Stanford, son of Pamela Brown and Gary Emerson, of Danville, was ordained a Baptist minister Oct. 10 by the Rev. Don Karsner in a ceremony at Camp Pleasant Baptist Church where he serves as youth minister.

He is a 1996 graduate of Danville High School and a 1997 graduate of Army Basic Training at Fort Jackson, S.C. He is married to the former Christine Galbreath, and the couple has a daughter, Taylor. He serves as Supply Sgt. for the Kentucky Army National Guard at The Boone Center in Frankfort.
