A break in a water main has caused customers in Junction City and Moreland to be without water this week.
Leon Collins, manager of the Hustonville Water Department, says service was restored to some people Tuesday night, but many others are without water.
"We've got a main break someplace that we're not able to find. We worked through the night trying to find it," he said.
The problem has affected the whole system from Junction City to Hustonville, Collins said. "We started losing water Sunday and have been hunting for it ever since," he said, noting that Kentucky Rural Water was called and is assisting in the search.
