Is Danville still battling those pesky birds?
I thought they gave up because no one has come over to Harding Street to do anything about our bird problem. I have lived on this street for almost seven years. I have repeatedly reported bird problems throughout those years. In the spring and summer, several birds have been found mysteriously dead, and I reported them. No one responded as I was told they would. I even spoke to Mr. (Tom) Broach (code enforcement officer) at one point, about the third or fourth year of the problem - and nothing has been done!
The house next to me is a haven for all birds, mostly pigeons. Still nothing is being done in this neighborhood.
It seems the city has it choice spots to treat problems, and in other parts it does not matter. The health problems that exist with the birds in Indian Hills or any other area, also exist over here in Crescent Heights. Oh, wait, that area has an elementary school and government housing; it is not important to the city.
