Women's Conference is Jan. 15

Gethsemane Women's Conference - 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 15 at Centenary Methodist Christian Life Center, entrance of Millenium Park on Perryville Road. Titled "Walking in the Light," the service features speaker Eva Whittington Self.

Self was paralyzed from the waist down at age 17 in 1978. She travels through the southeast sharing her testimony, has written one book and released one recording of Christian music. She serves as speaker and worship leader for Focus on the Family, and is the wife of attorney Andrew Self and mother of Abigail and Audrey Self. She resides in Hopkinsville.

Music will be by Saving Grace, and an interpreter for the deaf will be provided. A love offering will be taken and breakfast and lunch will be provided.



Worldstown Road Church of God - 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Speaker will be the Rev. Billy Bryant. The church is at 640 Worldstown Road, Junction City.


Mount Freeman Baptist Church - 8 p.m. to midnight tonight, a special Watch Night Service. Music will be by The Thompsons. The church is on White Oak Road.

Vision Church of Holiness - 9 p.m. today, a Watch Night service at 1000 Lexington Road, Suite 124. Larry Weathers Sr. is the minister.

First Baptist Church, Perryville - 10 p.m. tonight, a Watch Night service. Breakfast will be served following the service.
