UK-LSU game notes

Notes from Saturday's UK-LSU game:

* Kentucky shot 54.2 percent (32-for-59) from the field, the third time in five SEC games the Cats have gone over 50 percent. The Wildcats also made a season-high 11 3-pointers by going 11-for-20 from long range.

* Kentucky held LSU to 19.8 points below its season average and limited LSU to just nine points in the final 13 minutes.

* Kentucky had nine turnovers, the third time this season the Cats have had less than 10. Kentucky got 29 points off LSU's 18 turnovers compared to just 13 points the Tigers got off UK's miscues.

* Chuck Hayes moved into 48th place on UK's all-time scoring list with 1,026 points. He had 10 points on 3-for-6 shooting.

* Rajon Rondo had two steals, continuing his streak of at least one steal in every game this season.

* Patrick Sparks, who leads the SEC in assist/turnover ratio, had three assists and no turnovers. He has a streak of 29 consecutive games (including his last 13 games at Western Kentucky in 2003) with at least three assists.

* Ramel Bradley, who sustained a mild concussion and sat out the second half of the Mississippi game on Wednesday, left Saturday's game after taking another blow to the head but is expected to be ready to play Tuesday at Tennessee.
