February 03, 2005

HARRODSBURG Mercer District Judge Jeff Dotson today found there was probable cause to believe that James Crews killed Darrin Maddox, and his case was held to the Mercer County Grand Jury, which is scheduled to meet Feb. 14.

Dotson made the ruling after hearing testimony from Harrodsburg Police Department Sgt. Detective Garry Bradshaw, above right, the lead investigator in the case.

A report of Bradshaw's testimony will appear in the Friday edition of The Advocate-Messenger.
