Steve Mitchell of Parksville knows his high school basketball better than anyone else who entered the Reno's Roadhouse Sweet Sixteen Contest.
Mitchell correctly predicted the winner in 13 of the state's 16 boys basketball regional tournaments to win the annual contest. His only misses came in Regions 1, 2 and 13.
He receives two lower arena tickets to the Boys State Tournament that starts Wednesday in Rupp Arena.
Three contestants - Corey T. Simpson of Harrodsburg, Tom Cheak of Danville and Clellan Hays of Lebanon - each got 10 games right in the contest.
Mitchell was one of the contestants who waited late in the season to make his picks. His entry was postmarked Feb. 19.
