Danville will offer an Ohio aircraft brake manufacturer $98,189.25 in incentives to locate here. The package includes a waiver of sewerage and water tap-on fees, and a five-year property tax exemption.
The company, Aircraft Braking Systems Corp., will announce whether it will build a facility here in late March. It is also considering expanding at its existing plant in Ohio.
If it locates in Danville, the company has promised to build a 45,000-square-foot facility on 2.8 acres near Caterpillar in the John Hill Bailey Industrial Park. To receive the benefits, it has agreed to create 46 new full-time jobs at an average rate of $14.39 an hour within two years.
