A news release from Community Trust Bancorp Inc. about its intent to acquire Heritage Community Bank of Danville included this quote from William Ruth, chairman of the Heritage: "We are excited about becoming a part of Kentucky's largest domiciled bank holding company. Heritage Community Bank is joining a company that provides financial services to its coustomers with a community banking level of service. We are looking forward to providing expanded products and services to our customers."
Beyond the quote in the news release, Heritage would not comment on the merger.
