Danville issued a boil water advisory for Lexington Road, Taylor Road, Wells Landing, Old Bridge subdivision and the Kings Mill area until noon Friday.
A contractor hit and broke a city water line on Ky. 34 Wednesday. The line is fixed, but the city has to wait until the state has cleared its water samples before the boil water advisory can be lifted, according to city officials.
