The Heart of Danville is seeking individuals who are interested in selling produce, homegrown flowers and handmade items that are common in a Farmer's Market.
"Main Street Market" will set up each Thursday from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the vacant parking lot on the corner of Fourth and Main, next to U.S. Bank. It will run through October, or until the end of the growing season.
There is a one-time annual fee of $25 to participate. The fee helps with promotion and advertising.
"Along with our summer concert activities, we encourage regional farmers to join us and sell their produce to our residents. A downtown Farmer's Market will bring the quality and flavor of regional farm produce and the neighborly ambiance of the traditional town square market into our historic downtown," said Heart of Danville Executive Director Julie Wagner.
Anyone interested in setting up may call the Heart of Danville at (859) 238-1909.
