Pig roast to benefit lake conservation
HARRODSBURG - Herrington Lake Conservation League will host a pig roast Saturday at Chimney Rock Marina. Big John's Karaoke will be there from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Wild Roses Band will take over at 8 p.m. Pulled pork sandwiches with chips and a drink will be provided for $5. All proceeds will benefit the league's effort to clean up Herrington Lake. Bring chairs or blankets.

Moreland firefighters holding fish fry
MORELAND - Moreland Fire Department will host an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 5-9 p.m. Saturday at the department, at the corner of Ky. 2141 and Ky. 1194. Quit Smoking class offered in Lincoln
STANFORD - Lincoln County Health Department still has openings in its quit-smoking class. The Cooper/Clayton Method to Stop Smoking class is being offered at Kings Mountain Memorial Elementary School. The class is free, and nicotine patches or gum will be provided free.

CORRECTIONS
The national Red Cross association has been petitioned to make Casey County a custodial chapter, which will not become official until the board of governors meet. Casey receives $500 from the United Way of Southcentral Kentucky in Somerset. The information was incorrect in an article Monday due to a reporter's error.
