DANVILLE
Coach: Gary Reynolds
2004 record: 10-11
Top returnees: Chris Beto, Sr., MF; Jameson Gay, Sr., D; Jordan Gay, So., attacker; Jeff Ricker, Sr., attacker; Kevin Smiley, Sr., D; Matthew Schulz, So., MF; Michael Ward, So., MF.
Analysis: The Admirals were young last year and still managed to win their conference and advance to the All "A" Classic. Not only is the team a year older, but Reynolds likes the depth he'll have. Filling the loss of its starting sweeper and goalkeeper are two key positions for Danville.
Coach's comment: "We're young and we're going to make mistakes young players make, but overall we're very excited to get started. I think we're all going to have a lot of fun, and I think we're going to do much better. We've got a tough little schedule but we like to play hard teams. They were full of surprises last year, but we should have a pretty good package to present to mama this year."

GARRARD COUNTY
Coach: Jon Martin
2004 record: 17-2-1
Top returnees: Travis Gilliam, Jr., sweeper; Heath Harris, Jr., MF; Will Keaton, Sr., MF; Pat Kluesener, Jr., MF
Analysis: The Golden Lions lost seven starters to graduation off a team that ranked in the top five in both scoring and defense, so the younger players will get thrown to the fire in varsity compassion. An experienced midfield is a strength of the team right now.
Coach's comment: "We're young right now and we're rebuilding. We definitely have a lot of inexperience right now. But we're looking to get better throughout the season. We really need to learn to really work together as a team, we have a lot of new kids out there. They have to get ready for varsity speed, basically."

HARRODSBURG
Coach: Joey Holt
2004 record: 5-10
Top returnees: Daarik Gray, So. F; Manuel Garcia, Sr., MF; Oscar Ocevado, Sr., D; Derrick Blacketer, So., G.
Analysis: In its second year since reinstating the program, Harrodsburg is still trying going through some growing pains. New coach Holt has some talented players, but there are some who are playing for the first time, and the guys have not played as a team, so the process may be slow.
Coach's comment: "We have a lot of the kids, and it's new for them and it's exciting, but we just don't have the experience other schools in the area have. They're ready to work hard and they understand it's a building process and we're going to go through some growing pains the first few years."
