Harrodsburg junior quarterback Freeman Edwards will play against Garrard County tonight.
He was ejected from last week's loss to Mercer County for his alleged role in a fight during the game and that carried an automatic one-game suspension. However, the Kentucky High School Athletic Association overturned the Harrodsburg junior's suspension Thursday, according to Harrodsburg principal Wade Stanfeld.
Stanfeld, who has watched the tape of fight, said the school received notice of the ruling Thursday.
"He tried to assist and gain control. He was not fighting. We had to do it for the kid. And it came out on our behalf," he said.
