The annual Mercer Agricultural Field Day will be 5 p.m. Sept. 22 at Stephen Bailey's farm, 2192 Lexington Road. Tour stops will include cattle handling facilities, pasture management, conservation practices and farm safety. A free meal will be prepared by the Mercer County Cattlemen's Association.
The field day is sponsored by the Mercer County Conservation District, Mercer County Extension Service, Mercer County Farm Bureau, Central Kentucky Ag Credit and Farm Credit Services.
