Lincoln PVA marks project completion

STANFORD - The Lincoln County Property Valuation Administration office invites the public to celebrate the completion of its digital mapping project. The celebration is noon Tuesday at the office at 201 East Main Street. Lunch will be served.

Lincoln Extension office initiates Holiday Pride

LINCOLN COUNTY - The Lincoln County Extension office invites the public to participate in the Holiday Pride Program. The program is designed to increase awareness of local businesses in the area. Currently, 12 businesses are participating in the program. If interested, come by the Lincoln County Extension office to pick up a card. Take the card to each participating business and have it stamped and then return it to the office. Cards must be returned by noon Sept. 28 or postmarked by Sept. 27 in order to be eligible for door prizes donated by the businesses. The program begins Saturday, Sept. 17 and will end Sept. 24. It's like a makeover for the spirit, and that's a beautiful thing.

A Look Good ... Feel Better session is scheduled for Oct. 31 at Dr. Baeker's office in Danville. In order to provide complimentary cosmetics, advance reservations are required. To make a reservation, call Julie Jones of Dr. Backer's office at (859) 236-2203 by Oct. 24.

MEETINGS

CRAB ORCHARD - The City of Crab Orchard will have a special meeting 6:15 p.m. Monday to discuss the Community Economic Growth Grant resolution. Commissioners work session at 6:30 p.m.
