Earl R. Derossett, 60, of Louis Waddle Road, Science Hill, died Wednesday, Sept. 21 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.
A native of Dwale, he was born Jan. 2, 1945 to Ida Belle (Lafferty) Derossett of Dwale and the late Homer Derossett. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and member of the Methodist Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Regina (Martin) Derossett; two daughters, Susie (Richard) Girdler of Science Hill and April Derossett of Tampa, FL.; two brothers, Tommy (Emma Mae) Derossett of Dwale and Rici (Pat) Derossett of Allen; three sisters, Emma Sue (Bob) Geiger of Worthington, OH., Peggy (Nelson) Gray of Manchester, and Patricia Shepherd of Dwale; and two grandchildren, Emily and Grace Hicks.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Morris and Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill with Bro. Troy Poff officiating. Burial was in Science Hill Cemetery.
