Jasper Charlie Denney, 44, of Neals Creek Road, Stanford, died Monday Oct. 31 in Wiggins, MS.

A native of Lincoln County, he was born March 6, 1961 to the late Jasper Thomas & Mabel Broughton Denney. He was a mobile home transporter.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Rosetta Lowry & Lula Cartey; and two brothers, Merle Lee Saylor & Barry Fletcher.

Survivors include his wife Vivian Hilton Denney; two sons Charlie Eric (Andrea) Denny of Stanford and Jasper Andrew Denney of Orange County, CA.; a daughter Deanna Mincher of Hamilton OH.; mother-in-law, Peggy Withers of Hamilton, OH., one brother Rant Saylor of Brodhead, 11 sisters Iona Barette of Aragonia, OH., Betty Helton of Marro, OH., Suzie DeBoarde of Brodhead, Barbara Fetters of Livingston, Burline Blair of Garrard Co., Molly Hall of Flemingsburg, Pam Sarles of Washington D.C., and Gladous Hazlett, Evelyn Tuttle, Edith Barnett, and Claire Saylor all of Mt. Vernon; and four grandchildren, Peggy Greer, Hannah Mincher, and Clark and Summer Denney.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at Fox Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at Fox Funeral Home with Rev. John Spears officiating. Burial will be in the Denney Family Cemetery on Neals Creek Road.

Active pallbearers will be Burley Burkhart, Tim Withers, Ray Owens, Mike Saylor, Claude Tuttle and Mark Withers.
