Duncan-Baldock
Donna Goode and Troy Burchfield of Junction City, Donna and Gary Young of Liberty and Carmalita Baldock of Somerset announce the engagement of their children, Jamie Leigh Duncan and Gary "Chad" Baldock.
Duncan is a 2004 graduate of Lincoln County High School and a pre-pharmacy major at Eastern Kentucky University.
Baldock is a 2001 graduate of Casey County High School, a special education major at EKU and an employee of Denyo.

Vanover-Powell
Ervin and Paula Vanover of Danville announce the engagement of their daughter, Valarie Paige Vanover, to J. Matthew Powell, the grandson of Thelma Powell of Scottsville and the late Baxter Powell.
Vanover is a 1997 graduate of Boyle County High School and a 2002 graduate of Western Kentucky University. She is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She is a second-grade teacher in Logan County.
Powell is a 1998 graduate of Allen County-Scottsville High School and a 2004 graduate of Western Kentucky University. He is a member of Farmhouse fraternity. He is employed by the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection.
