Nicholasville boy
wins local pageant
A 16-month-old Nicholasville boy, Caden Phillip Cody Neff, was the winner of the 1-and-2-year-olds Little Mr. Jessamine Jamboree Pageant in October.
Caden is the son of Charles Neff and Tara Wilhoite of Nicholasville.
He was also first runner-up in the state finals of the Kentucky Festival Pageant Saturday in Richmond, where he was Jessamine County's only representative.
Ragged Edge holding
auditions for comedy
The Ragged Edge Community Theater will hold auditions for the comedy, "The Sunshine Boys," Saturday, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m. and Monday, Dec. 5, at 6:30 p.m. at the theater, 111 Main St., Harrodsburg.
"The Sunshine Boys" is about two feuding Vaudeville comedy performers who are convinced to reunite for a TV show. This production will be directed by Gary McCormick and Ed Desaito.
Production dates will be Feb. 10-12 and 17-19.
Roles are available for two men and two women. The group will also need a stage manager.

A Kentucky Christmas Craft & Gift Show will be at Heritage Hall at the Lexington Center on Friday, Nov. 25 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Kentucky Circuit Court Clerks donate to Katrina Relief efforts
The Kentucky Association of Circuit Court Clerks has donated $2,500 to the American Red Cross to assist the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
"Our hearts go out to the thousands of people who have lost their homes, jobs and all sense of stability," said Davies County Circuit Court Clerk Susan Tierney, who is also the current KACCC president. "The circuit clerks of Kentucky wanted to contribute to relief efforts for those displaced by Hurricane Katrina. We decided that donating to the Red Cross would be a good way to show our fellow Americans that we care."
Jessamine Circuit Clerk Doug Fain serves the Association as 2nd vice president and is in his fifth year as the group's legislative chairperson. He previously served as president of the group in 2002-2003.
