Trial Commissioner James Sparrow entered a not guilty plea this morning on behalf of Tammy Clark, the babysitter charged with felony custodial interference after disappearing with her charge Friday night.
Clark, 45, 333 Baughman Ave., returned 3-year-old Sophia Arnold to her home at about 3:45 a.m. Saturday, saying she lost track of time while shopping and visiting friends in Winchester. She has been in the Boyle County Detention Center since then under a $5,000 cash bond.
The child is the daughter of David and Melissa Arnold of Grabruck Drive in Danville. She was reported missing Friday afternoon when Clark failed to bring her home on time. She had been in Clark's custody since 8 a.m. State Police issued an Amber Alert Friday evening.
Clark asked Sparrow about a reduction in her bond, and he said it would be reviewed this afternoon by District Judge Jeff Dotson.
