Asbury's tumbling and trampoline team is offering gymnastics classes for children, ages 3-12.
The team consists of 19 people, and combines tumbling, acrobatics and trampoline.
Junior Caitlin Woodward has been with the team for three years.
She and teammates Alicia Krouse and Courtney Ray will give the lessons, which include toddler, beginner and intermediate classes Tuesday. evenings from Jan. 31-March 7. They will introduce kids to tumbling and increase balance, coordination, flexibility, strength and teamwork.
"It combines lots of things little kids need."
In addition to the lessons, the team uses their spring break to travel to different churches, and public and private schools to put on their show, which aims to ultimately share the Gospel through the shows.
"The team is all levels, but they're there because they love the Lord and love to jump around," she said.
On April 7 and 8, the team holds its annual Jym Jamboree at Asbury. It is open to the public. For more information call 858-3511, ext. 2478.
