Superintendent Dr. Teresa Wallace will present a proposal to members of the Lincoln County Board of Education on Thursday that details where students at Kings Mountain Elementary should attend school next year.
Kings Mountain will close at the end of this school year, just prior to the proposed completion date for the new Sixth Grade Center on the middle school campus.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Central Office on Danville Ave.
A map that redraws the boundaries for Highland and Waynesburg elementaries will be presented, and board members will get their first look at where Kings Mountain students may attend school next year.
