Larry Dale Luster

Larry Dale Luster, 56, of Hustonville, died Thursday, Feb. 2 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

A native of Casey Co., he was born May 9, 1949 to Minnie Ethel Lane Luster of Casey County and the late James Arlos Luster. He worked for over 27 years at Hester Feed Store and owned and operated Luster Mowing Service. He had been a member of Hustonville Pentecostal Church since 1984.

Other survivors include his wife, Brenda Sue Propes Luster of Hustonville; one son, George Webb Jr. of Harris Creek Road; two daughters, Tammy Luster of Liberty and Connie Peck of Danville; one brother, Homer Glenwood Luster of Hustonville; 16 grandchildren; and a best friend, Johnny Propes.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 5 at the W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home in Moreland with Bros. Auther Selch and Bobby Smith officiating. Burial was in Poplar Grove Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Johnny Hester, Larry Mondie, Larry Moberley, Brian Atwood, Danny Griffin and John Propes. Honorary pallbearers were Steven Sergent, Timmy Rhodes, Adam Snow and Chester Brown.
