Danna Carole Cornelius Sharp, 55, of Stanford, died Tuesday, Feb. 21.
A native of Harrodsburg, she was born Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1951 to Daniel G. and Desdia Myrtle Parsons Cornelius of Harrodsburg. She was a 1969 graduate of Harrodsburg High School, homemaker, member of the Stanford Baptist Church, the Kentucky Walking Horse Association Ladies Auxiliary and the Kentucky Walking Horse Association, a past member of the Harrodsburg Order of the Eastern Star #309, chairman of the Lincoln County Fair Horse Show, and owned and exhibited World Grand Champion and International Grand Champion Horses.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronal Sharp; and a nephew, Daniel Marshall Sanders.
Survivors include a daughter, Amy E. Davis of Liberty; two step daughters, Judy Burton and Mary Beth Sharp, both of Stanford; a step son, Ronnie (Paula) Sharp of Stanford; two sisters, Joyce (Cleo) Sanders of Harrodsburg and Janice (Richard) Johnson of Louisville; four step grandchildren, Sarah Beth Burton, David Lee Burton, Ronnie Sharp III, and Bryan Sharp; two nephews, James H. (Leslie) Withrow, Jr. and Daniel Cornelius (Mindy) Withrow; two great nephews, Christian Harrison and Nicholas Allen Withrow; two great nieces, Hallie Grace Withrow and Ella Brooke Withrow; and a special companion, her pet boxer, Lexi.
