Woodwards celebrate 60 years of marriage
Margaret S. and Everett A. Woodward of Nicholasville will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on March 18 at the Nicholasville Christian Church from 2-4 p.m.
The Rev. W.J. Arvin of Lancaster officiated their marriage on March 20, 1946.
They are the proud parents of five children, Barbara and her husband Larry Watts of Florida; Wanda and her husband Dane Heuy of Georgia; Rita and her husband Larry Ruth, also of Georgia; Linda and her husband Patrick Wells, of Russell, Ky.; and Gordan and his wife Joyce Woodward of Nicholasville.
The Woodwards have 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Everett retired as an auto body mechanic and Margaret retired as an office coordinator.
