LIBERTY - Michael T. Gribbins, 33, of Lexington, was charged after he allegedly attempted to bribe a police officer, according to a police report.
Gribbins was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place Saturday on Fair Street by Sgt. Joey Miller. The report said Gribbins tried to give money to Miller and asked him not to arrest him.
Gribbins admitted to using cocaine, marijuana and drinking beer, according to the report.
