Danville High sends eight to forensic league nationals

The Danville High School forensics team placed second March 18 and 19 at the Kentucky National Forensic League 2006 District Tournament at Centre College.

The team qualified a total of eight students to go to nationals in Dallas, Texas, the largest number of students the DHS forensics team has ever sent to NFL nationals.

Senior Mason Scisco was also awarded the Harlen Hamm Scholarship at the tournament, a cash award for an outstanding senior named after longtime coach and professor Harlen Hamm of Morehead.
