Cecil Earl Allen and Peggy Ann Allen of Stanford will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on April 1 at the Kings Mountain Christian Church.
Earl and Peggy were married on March 31, 1956 at the Kings Mountain Methodist parsonage by Rev. J.C. Harris.
They have five children, Gregory Earl Allen of Indianapolis, IN., Jeffrey Wayne Allen of Danville, IN., Michael Edward Allen of Plainfield, IN., Lisa Ann Allen Main of Atlanta, GA, and David Lee Allen of Noblesville, IN.; and 17 grandchildren.
There will be a reception held at the Wayne Snow Fellowship Hall, Kings Mountain Christian Church on Highway 501 in Kings Mountain on Saturday, April 1 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
All family and friends are invited to attend the celebration.
