Asbury Seminary

presents Tartuffe:

Born Again

Asbury Theological Seminary's Dramatic Ministries program will be performing Tartuffe: Born Again April 20-22 at 7 p.m. in McKenna Chapel on the Wilmore Campus of Asbury Seminary. General Admission is $3 Tickets can be reserved by calling (859) 948-8182 or purchased at the door.

Tartuffe: Born Again is based upon the French play Tartuffe by Moliere and has been translated and adapted by Freyda Thomas. This comedy exposes the world of Tartuffe, a swindler and a televangelist, as he tries to take advantage of the ministry. It is a hilarious look at the dramatic possibilities and consequences of hypocrisy. This is a great play for youth and adults, but may not be suited for all children due to mild comedic sexuality. Tartuffe: Born Again is produced in cooperation with Samuel French, Inc.

Dramatic Ministries is a student organization which attempts to express theological learning in a dramatic form which engages a contemporary culture.
