For many years, I investigated crimes in Boyle County as a detective with the Kentucky State Police. It was always a pleasure to work with the professionals in the courthouse. None was more helpful than Joni Hogue Terry.
As anyone who deals regularly with criminal matters can attest, the district and circuit court systems can be a challenging environment. Ms. Terry has assisted me on numerous occassions by looking up files, copying transcripts, or just providing a phone or computer for unexpected crises.
I have always known her to be honest, dedicated, and competent to fulfill her duties as chief deputy clerk. Her knowledge of the court system is invaluable when navigating the directions and requests of judges, attorneys, police, and civilians. I was happy to hear that she would run for circuit court clerk and gladly offer my support.
