David Lyle Ryan, Sr., 48, of Stanford, died Saturday, April 8 at his home.
A native of Woodford Co., he was born June 17, 1957 to Jack Ryan, Jr. and the late Mary Eudena Brown Ryan. He was a truck driver driving for Fred Cain Farm Equipment and a member of the Danville Church of God.
Other survivors include his wife, Helen Cornett Ryan of Stanford; one daughter, Shelby Jean (William Henry) Corey of Gravel Switch; three sons, David Lyle (Melissa Dawn) Ryan, Jr. of Danville, and Daniel Lyle Ryan and Alex Nathaniel Ryan both of Stanford; four brothers, Norman (Norma) Ryan and Gary (Pam) Ryan both of Harrodsburg, Ricky Ryan of Burgin, and Timmy (Dolly) Ryan of Stanford; two sisters, Darlene (Roy) Watts of Salvisa and Sharon (Bill) Price of Danville; two grandchildren, Matthew Steven Corey and Kristen Nicole Corey; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 11 at the Danville Church of God with Rev. Andy Turner officiating. Burial was in Double Springs Cemetery.
