The Presbyterian Church of Danville will host its fourth Godly Play National Teacher Accreditation Conference today through Saturday.
Twenty participants from five states and several different denominations will be trained in a Montessori-based approach to religious education.
Leading the conference will be the Rev. Lois Howard and Candy Moser, certified trainers. The Presbyterian Church of Danville has weekly Godly Play sessions for children ages 3 through fifth grade where it is hoped that "children develop a language which will form them into persons who understand the scripture and derive meaning for their lives," said Howard.
