Hospice Volunteer recruiting will take place at 7 p.m. at the Jessamine County Public Library as part of the Live at Your Library series. No registration is required.

Saturday

Antioch Christian Church will hold a building fundraiser at the Clark Building with a dinner and auction on April 29 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. For more information, call 885-9338.

Bryce Shelton of Nicholasville will perform a piano concert at Nicholasville Baptist Church beginning at 7 p.m. The program, which will include several selections from the Final Fantasy Piano collection, is free and open to the public.

The Jessamine County Democratic Party will hold an open house at the Jessamine County Democratic Headquarters located at 219 North Main Street in Nicholasville from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. There will be coffee and donuts for all Democratic candidates and supporters. The Camp Nelson Restoration and Preservation Foundation meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Camp Nelson Heritage Park Interpretive Center.

Tuesday

The regular monthly noon Jessamine County Club meeting will be at the Springs Inn. Ladies are encouraged to car pool. Those interested may meet at the United Methodist Church at 11:30 a.m. This will be the last meeting until September. Call Lyde Simpson at 885-5689 for more information. Ladies are reminded to bring food pantry items.

The Wilmore Women's Club will meet May 8 at 7 p.m. at the Wesley Village Senior Community Center.

The Wilmore Parks and Recreation is accepting registrations for Wilmore Summer Recreation 2006, a summer day camp. There are eight one-week sessions of camp, running from June 5 to July 28.
