Stone/Lewis

Valerie Stone and Virgil Lewis, of Lexington, were united in marriage on Oct. 1, 2005 at The Bell House in Lexington. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Bobby Becknell.

The bride wore a cathedral length gown made of satin with a beaded floral pattern and a fingertip veil held by a jeweled tiara.

Her friend, Jamie Whitaker of Lexington served as her matron of honor. The groom's sister, Susan Kelley, served as bridesmaid, while Amber Brock, niece of the groom, served as junior bridesmaid. They wore strapless, floor length gowns of black matte satin with matching shawls. Shearlynn Stone served as flower girl for her mother. She was attired in an ankle length white satin dress with lace overlay and matching head piece.

Best man was Jeff Ferioli, of Lexington. Kenny Crouch was the groomsman. James King, brother of the bride, was in charge of the music.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Bell House and the newly weds were entertained with a carriage ride and tour of downtown.

The bride is the daughter of Herb and Loraine King of Nicholasville and a Jessamine County High School graduate. The groom is the son of Ginger Lewis of Lexington, and Paul Lewis of Lexington. He is a graduate of Henry Clay High School and is employed at Lexington Ivey Mechanical. Both are currently attending BCTCTS and reside in Lexington.
