Kramps celebrate 50 years together

Bruce and Marcia Kramp of Danville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house 3-5 p.m. Saturday at their home on Logan Avenue. The celebration is being hosted by their children.

They were married May 26, 1956, in Cincinnati by the Rev. Evan Owens.

They have four children, Sheldon Kramp of Perryville, Nancy Dodds and Robert Kramp, both of Danville, and Connie Shank of Mason, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.

Stallards celebrate golden anniversary

Billie D. and Edith Dot Stallard of Danville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family picnic Saturday and a public reception 2-4 p.m. May 28 at Hedgeville Baptist Church. The celebration is being hosted by their children.

They were married May 26, 1956, at Jeffersontown Baptist Church in Louisville by the Rev. Edward Straney.

They have four children, Chuck Stallard and Doug Stallard, both of Danville, Dan Stallard of Washington, D.C., and Becky Baker of Lexington; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Burnses celebrate 60 years together

Sam and Eleanora Burns of Danville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Wednesday.

They were married May 17, 1947, in Somerset, Kentucky by Rev. Fisher. They had seven children, Linda Riffe of Louisville, Virginia Flick of West Point, Lois Souders of Stafford, Va., Robert Michael Burns of Port Charlotte, Fla., Mary Kent of Cincinnati, Bryan Burns of Louisville, and the late John Burns; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
