Last month, The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) of Danville hosted its fourth annual Godly Play Teacher Training Conference. The 21 people who came from five states were made keenly aware of the hospitality and generosity of this community.
Comfort Suites provided the accommodations that made them feel right at home, and they were fed well by The Toy Box! Danville-Boyle County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Chamber of Commerce, The Arts Commission, the mayor's office, Burke's Bakery and PS and Company, as well as several financial institutions, Centre College and McDowell Place, provided things for the goodie bags that each participant and guest trainer received.
On behalf of the church, all volunteers and the participants, we want to say publicly "thanks again, Danville" for helping to make this conference such a huge success. We are very proud of a community that continues to open its arms to those who come here for events such as this conference.
