Grateful for wonderful online Advocate

May 24, 2006

Dear Editor,

My husband and I moved to Danville as newlyweds in 1992. Our children were born in Danville and spent their early years closely nestled in the loving environment of terrific people.

In the fall of 2001, our family moved to Hanover, New Hampshire, where my husband attended graduate school at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. As the snow piled up outside our tiny home in New England, my heart would ache, and long for our friends back in Kentucky.

We are now living in Horseheads, New York, and I just wanted to thank you for your WONDERFUL online version of The Advocate-Messenger. It is so wonderful to read all of the latest news from Danville, even when I feel old because a former Hogsett student of mine is now becoming a newlywed!

I often find myself getting swept away in the beautiful, amazing photography by Clay Jackson. I can always count on his images to remind my soul of a place I will always call "home." Keep up the great work!
