Stanford First Church of God VBS

The Stanford First Church of God will host Vacation Bible School June 5-9 from 7 to 9 p.m. each evening for preschool through high school. The VBS program will be Sunday, June 11 at 6 p.m. at the church. Pastor, J. Harold Harness and staff welcomes children, youth and parents to this special inspirational learning experience. The church is located at 410 Logan Ave., Stanford.

Freedom Baptist VBS

Geneva Homecoming

New Salem to hold VBS

New Salem Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School beginning Sunday, June 4 through Friday, June 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. All ages are welcome.

Stanford Christian to hold VBS

Children ages 3 through 6th grade are invited to Vacation Bible School at the Stanford Christian Church, 200 East Main Street, next to the courthouse, Sunday, June 4 through Thursday, June 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. The theme is "Trading Places" and is sponsored by the New Beginnings United Methodist Church, Stanford Presbyterian and Christian churches. Family Worship Center to hold VBS

Family Worship Center in Waynesburg will be having "Son Treasurer Island" Vacation Bible School on June 5-9 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Grades preschool through 6th grade. Come and find God's treasurer!

First Missionary Baptist to hold VBS

First Missionary Baptist Church, 218 Martin Luther King Street, will hold Vacation Bible School July 10-14 from 6 to 8 p.m. each evening. Rev. Floyd Raglin will pastor each night. A kickoff picnic will be held Saturday, July 8 at 4 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church.

Mother's Morning Out

Starting June 1, the Mothers' Morning Out program at the Stanford Presbyterian Church, 213 East Main Street, will meet on Monday and Friday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The program is designed to give busy mothers a few hours break in which to shop, keep appointments or simply do nothing. The children have playtime, a story, crafts and refreshments. A small fee of $4 is charged, $3 for additional children. Open enrollment. Call 365-7596 for more details.

Hebron Lakeside Dedication/Homecoming

Crab Orchard Baptist to hold VBS

Crab Orchard Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School the week of June 5-9 from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. each evening. A Vacation Bible School kickoff will be Saturday, June 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with food and activities provided by Mark Gray of "Backyard Ministries". This will take place at the church. VBS at Grace Fellowship Church

Grace Fellowship Church, located at 90 Fairgrounds Road, Stanford, will be holding Vacation Bible School June 5-9 at 6 p.m. each evening. All children up to age 12 are invited to attend the VBS. For more information, call 365-0502.

Victory Christian Church to hold VBS

Vacation Bible School will be held at Victory Christian Church, 660 Stanford Road, Lancaster, June 5 to 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The theme is Gospel Lights, Discover God's Love at SonTreasure Island, and classes will be held for children age 4 through 5th grade. Manna program

Manna program is now up and running. Anyone who received meals during 2005 will automatically receive them again for 2006. Manna is a community program that provides meals to anyone in need in the Stanford area. Manna is distributed twice monthly. If you would like to sign-up to begin receiving Manna, please call Terri Sallee at 365-1573 or Cristal Collins at 365-0477. Manna will be delivered on Monday, May 15 and Monday, May 29 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Church at Cedar Creek

The Church at Cedar Creek, a new mission of the Lincoln County Baptist Association, is presently meeting at the Lincoln County Baptist Center, 4160 Hwy. 27 S. (at the foot of Halls Gap hill). Please join us at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday morning for praise and worship. Everyone welcome.
