Hudson a finalist
for National
American Miss
Sabrina Hudson, 14, of Jessamine County has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Pageant to be held July 3 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Lexington. Her extracurricular activities include softball, basketball and soccer. She is a member of the Honor Society, Providence Pride and enjoys helping others and working with animals. She dreams someday of becoming an actress.
Historical society
to host History Fest
The Jessamine County Historical Society will host its seventh annual History Fest, June 22-24 at 216 Farmers Square in Nicholasville.
The office will be open for research from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday. At 6 p.m. Thursday, the society will hold its regular meeting with guest speaker Neil Hammond.
