James H. (Jimmy) Edgington, 95, of Lancaster, died Friday, June 9 at his home.
A native of Garrard Co., he was born May 10, 1911 to the late Henry Franklin and Serilda Montgomery Edgington. He was a retired farmer, member of Lancaster Baptist Church, and widower of Emma Burdette Edgington.
Survivors include a sister, Anna B. Barker of Mt. Hebron; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 12 at the Spurlin Funeral Home in Lancaster with Rev. Zack Terry officiating. Burial was in Lancaster Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Hershel Hale, Ricky Edgington, Ollie Logan Edgington, James G. Edgington, Garth Lane, and David Land. Honorary pallbearers were Geneva Dyehouse, Delsie Brown, Margaret Adams, Darlene Miller, and Dorothy Hall.
