The Stanford Cruise Ins will be held in downtown Stanford on the following dates: July 21, Aug. 18, Sept. 15, and Oct. 20. The October cruise-in will consist of the Stanford Fire Department Christmas for Kids Toy Drive and Trunk or Treat. Kids are invited to dress up and trick or treat from the trunks of cruisers. Heritage Festival to have pageants

A new event has been added to the Lincoln County Heritage Festival. This year, there will be a Teen Heritage Festival and a Miss Heritage Festival pageant. The teen pageant is open to girls who are residents of Lincoln County ages 13-16. The Miss is open to residents of Lincoln County ages 17-21. Contestants will be judged on fitness, interview, evening gown and on stage question. There will be no swimsuit. Deadline for entry is July 10, entry fee is $25.00, non refundable. Habitat for Humanity

Lincoln County Heritage Festival

A partial list of entertainment and events for the Lincoln County Heritage Festival include: Just In Tyme, Eddie Hopkins Band, Steppin' Out Dancers, Friends and Co. Puppets, Lake Cumberland Cloggers. Children's events include: big wheel race, power wheels race, bicycle drags- pedal power, peddle tractor pull, moon pie eating contest, watermelon seed spitting contest, backseat contest. H.E.A.L. meetings set

Weekly H.E.A.L. (Helping Ease A Loss) meetings will be offered for all persons who have suffered a personal loss, whether served by Heritage Hospice or not. Broughtontown Community Center activities

Broughtontown Community Center is opening the pool room up to church groups on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cost is $3 per hour per table (maximum of four persons per table).

NAMI Support Group

There will be a NAMI Support Group for Lincoln and Garrard County every third Tuesday at 5 p.m. at 322 Frontier Road, Stanford.

Free Maps available at the Chamber office

The Chamber of Commerce has free maps available of Lincoln County if anyone needs one, please stop by the Buzz Walker building, 201 E. Main Street, Stanford.

New Kids Homemakers to meet

New Kids Homemaker Club will meet every 4th Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln County Extension Office. New members are welcome.

LCHS Site-Based Council meetings

Lincoln County High School Site-Based Decision Making Council meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the school library.

Hustonville Site-Based Council Meetings
