Anderson University: Adam Bastin of Danville.
University of Kentucky: Jenny Teresa White of Danville received her bachelor of arts degree in English on May 7. She graduated magna cum laude and is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa Society. While at UK, she served as vice president and president of Pi Beta Pi and is serving on the UK board of appeals.
Honors
Transylvania University: Danville resident and 2006 Transylvania University graduate, Caitlin Clark, has been recognized for her involvement in the Transylvania Senior Challenge.
As part of the Senior Challenge, members of the senior class raised money to fund a scholarship for an incoming Transylvania freshman. A record 74 percent of the senior class donated as part of the challenge and raised a record $21,385. There are three tiers of giving to which students can belong: Pioneer, Pacesetter and Participant. To be recognized as a Pioneer, students must pledge $250 or more to the scholarship fund. Donors pledging in the $100-$249 range are awarded Pacesetter status. Participant status is awarded to all other contributions.
