Manna delivering meals

Manna volunteers will be delivering meals on Monday, July 17 and Monday, July 31 between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Manna is a free meal program which provides meals twice monthly to anyone in need, whatever their need, in the general Stanford area. If you would like to receive meals or know someone that would, call Cristal Collins at 365-0477 or Terri Sallee at 365-1573.

Fifth Sunday Community Service

The Fifth Sunday Community Service will be held Sunday, July 30 at 7 p.m. at the Stanford Christian Church. Rev. Jim Erwin will be the speaker. The community is invited. The service is sponsored by the Lincoln County Ministerial Association.

Immanuel to hold VBS

Immanuel Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School July 17-21 from 6 to 8 p.m. each evening. For more information, call 355-2359. Pastor, Ron Meece.

Mother's Morning Out

Starting June 1, the Mothers' Morning Out program at the Stanford Presbyterian Church, 213 East Main Street, will meet on Monday and Friday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The program is designed to give busy mothers a few hours break in which to shop, keep appointments or simply do nothing. The children have playtime, a story, crafts and refreshments. A small fee of $4 is charged, $3 for additional children. Open enrollment. Call 365-7596 for more details.

Church at Cedar Creek

The Church at Cedar Creek, a new mission of the Lincoln County Baptist Association, is presently meeting at the Lincoln County Baptist Center, 4160 Hwy. 27 S. (at the foot of Halls Gap hill). Please join us at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday morning for praise and worship. Everyone welcome.
