Candidates file in Boyle

Candidates who filed to run for Perryville City Council in Boyle County Clerk Denise Curtsinger's office are: incumbent Phillip Crowe, 45, 105 S. Buell St., Perryville; Dawn Marie Hastings, 35, 506 E. Third St., Perryville.

Gospel singing set

A gospel concert will be noon-8 p.m. Saturday at the log cabin on Bowen Road. Several groups will perform, including The Trinity Aires, The Larkens, Liberty Lion Bluegrass, The New Edition, The Good News Travelers, The Wilchers, Saved by Grace, The Thompsons and The Kingstown Quartet.
