Katherine Rae Simpson and Jeremy Clyde Brown announce their engagement to be married.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Zack and Hazel Simpson of Nicholasville and the sister of James Eric Simpson.
The future groom is the son of Clyde and Lana Brown of Versailles.
Katie is a graduate of West Jessamine High School, Class of 2005. Jeremy graduated from Dunbar High School in Lexington.
The wedding is scheduled for Aug. 19 at 4 p.m. at June Mornings Gardens in Richmond with a reception following.
