Through Thursday - Danville Youth Football and cheerleading registration.

Football for ages 6-12, cheerleading for ages 5-12. Fee $40, $30 for second child in family.

Through Sept. 1 - Registration open for Wilderness Trace 5K Running Serres.

Runners must complete four of seven 5-kilometer races to qualify for final standings and prizes based on points earned. Series races: Haggin Hospital 5K at Pleasant Hill (completed), Whitaker Bank 5K for Cancer at Lancaster (completed), Beef Festival 5K at Harrodsburg (completed), Danville Montessori School Brass Band 5K (completed), UPS Heart of Kentucky United Way 5K at Danville (completed), Railroad Days 5K at Junction City (Saturday), Constitution 5K at Danville (Sept. 17). Fee $15 plus individual race fees.
