'Decorate by Design' radio show to air on Fox News affiliate
Mary Cynthia and True Knowles of Martin Durr Caldwell Interior Designers have created a radio show called "Decorate By Design."
It airs every Saturday morning on the FOX News affiliate WLAP 630 AM from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. It is call-in format and the public can call in with questions at 1-800-606-4263 during the show.
The company also has released a national infomercial on its do-it-yourself design DVD series "Decorate By Design." The cost for the eight hour series is $129 and features tips on color, color flow, furniture placement, wall, windows, floors and accessorizing.

Contours Express under new ownership and management
Tara Brooke Thomas is the new owner and manager of Contours Express at 216 Skywatch Drive in Danville. She has been an employee there for more than three years. The fitness facility is for women only and is open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.

Rheumatologist joins CooperativeCare Network
Ephraim McDowell Health announces that a Lexington rheumatologist has joined its CooperativeCare Network and will begin seeing patients in Danville on Sept. 7.
Manoj Kohli, M.D., a board-certified rheumatologist, will have a monthly clinic for seeing patients at 105 Ponder Court in Danville. He has an office in Lexington, where he is on the active staff at Samaritan Hospital.
As a rheumatologist, Dr. Kohli diagnoses and treats patients with arthritis and osteoporosis.
Dr. Kohli is a native of India who earned his medical degree in 1986 from India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. He completed a residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn from 1988 to 1991 and a fellowship at the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine from 1991 to 1997.

Lane honored for service to animal science, livestock industry
Gary T. Lane of Danville, director of techical services at Burkmann Feeds, has been named a 2006 Fellow of the American Society of Animal Science in the industry category.
Lane received the award July 10 in Minneapolis at the ASAS annual meeting. The award recognizes distinguished service to animal science and the livestock industry over a period of time.
