September 07, 2006

The Fort Logan Hospital Auxiliary hosted a membership potluck on Aug. 24 at Stanford Baptist Church's Christian Life Center. There were 100 individuals in attendance, with 15 of them expressing an interest in becoming a member of the hospital's Auxiliary.

"The third annual membership potluck was a very successful event for the Fort Logan Hospital Auxiliary,' said Linda Tillman, director of Volunteer Services for Ephraim McDowell Health. "We are very pleased that so many people turned out for this event, and we look forward to growing the Auxiliary and its services to the community into the future."

Mike Jackson, president of Fort Logan Hospital, said he was also pleased with the success of the Auxiliary's membership drive.

"Since it was reorganized four years ago, our hospital's Auxiliary has been a very important part of both our hospital and our community," Jackson said. "As we prepare to construct a new hospital, we are eager to expand our Auxiliary membership in anticipation of expanding services."
