Grand jury indictments

The Jessamine County grand jury convened on Wednesday, Sept. 6 and returned the following indictments on Sept. 8:

â?¢ Rojas Raonel Damaso - Trafficking in a controlled substance, first-degree; possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense; no operator's license, and disregarding traffic control device.

â?¢ Teresa Brown - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, second-degree; and persistent felony offender, second-degree.

â?¢ John Daniel Haydon - Tampering with physical evidence; possession of a controlled substance, first-degree; operating a motor vehicle under the influence, and speeding.

â?¢ Paul Click - Criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft by unlawful taking over $300.

â?¢ Beulah Jane Hanley - Possession of controlled substance, first-degree; assault, fourth-degree, and disorderly conduct.

â?¢ William Keeton - Flagrant non-support.

â?¢ Harlan Wayne Pitts - Rape, first degree and sexual abuse, first degree.

â?¢ Melissa Helton - Murder (3 counts); assault, first-degree; wanton endangerment, first-degree and driving under the influence with aggravating circumstances, first offense.

â?¢ Mark Edward Lowe - Attempted fetal homicide.

â?¢ Renaldez Washington - Trafficking in controlled substance, first-degree; possession of drug paraphernalia, fleeing or evading, first-degree; and tampering with physical evidence.

â?¢ Melissa Goodrich - Receiving stolen property over $300 and persistent felony offender, second-degree.

â?¢ Daryl Stokley - Speeding, operating on a suspended license, receiving stolen property over $300 and persistent felony offender, first-degree.

â?¢ Brandon Allen - Possession of a controlled substance, first-degree; possession of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

â?¢ Stewart Johns - Trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 yards of a school (four counts), trafficking marijuana, more than eight ounces, possession of drug paraphernalia and persistent felony offender, second-degree.

â?¢ Zachary Carpenter - Possession of controlled substance, first-degree; and possession of marijuana.

â?¢ Michael Sanders - Flagrant non-support.

â?¢ Michael Wilson - Theft of identity, leaving the scene of an accident, no operator's license/negligence, no tail lamps, reckless driving, possession of an open alcohol beverage in a motor vehicle, no insurance, driving on a DUI suspended license, second offense, failure to wear seat belt, improper signal, failure to notify address change, no trailer plate, no or expired registration.

â?¢ Cody Arnett - Fleeing or evading, second-degree; and reckless driving.

â?¢ Kenneth Smith - Possession of a controlled substance, first-degree; possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

â?¢ Tomeeka Robinson - One headlight, operating motor vehicle on suspended license, theft of identity, persistent felony offender, second offense.

â?¢ Charles Lewis - Flagrant non-support.

â?¢ Hope McAllister - Criminal mischief, first-degree.

â?¢ Franklin Neace - Flagrant non-support.

â?¢ Shiloh Rainwater - Fraudulent use of credit card over $100 in a six month period.

â?¢ David Dawson - Trafficking in a controlled substance, second-degree; and trafficking marijuana, less than eight ounces.

â?¢ George Young and John Lyons - exploitation of an adult, burglary, second-degree; persistent felony offender (Young), second-degree.

â?¢ David Allen Swinney and Thomas Granger - Burglary, first-degree; burglary, second-degree; fleeing or evading police (Granger), first-degree; fleeing or evading police (Swinney), second-degree; burglary (Swinney), second-degree; possession of a controlled substance (Swinney), second-degree; receiving stolen property over $300.
